Assistant Clinical Psychology Professor Position
The Department of Psychology at the University of Maryland (UMD) College Park invites applications for a full-
time, 12-month, non-tenure, professional track Assistant Clinical Professor position. The start date is
negotiable with June 15, 2022 as the target. This person will serve as the Assistant Director of Clinical Training
(ADCT) within the Clinical Science program and teach graduate courses, including clinical supervision, in the
Department of Psychology. The ADCT coordinates diversity-related clinical training experiences, off-campus
clinical placements for students, organizes our professionalization series, assists in record keeping for
accreditation, maintains our clinical handbook and website, organizes the evaluation of students' work,
provides clinical supervision, and assists in our recruitment and contact with student applicants.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program including an
accredited pre-doctoral internship and Maryland licensure or eligibility.
The department values applicants who have strong organizational skills; who have experience with teaching
and providing clinical supervision; and who are comfortable with web-based platforms. Applicants must have
an empirical background and a capacity to work within a clinical science training model.
The Clinical Science program at UMD is dedicated to the integration of science and practice and shares the

culturally diverse community between Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD.
